What brought them together years ago was the 48 hour film project in Leeuwarden. Creating a high-quality and beautiful end product together is where the motivation lies. From 48 hour film projects to making their graduation films with fellow students, they kept on making films together. The passion to create beautiful films drove them to do more and more.
After many successful collaborations, they found out that they are extremely valuable to each other and decided to merge their qualities into Homage. The knowledge and qualities they possess ensure that they are always produced as a strong end product.
The name Homage comes from the French word ‘hommage’ wich means ‘a tribute to’. Wich is often used in films to give tribute to other aspiring filmmakers.
FREDERIK BANDSTRA

Frederik has passion for the film profession. Frederik is an enthusiastic storyteller who is currently studying at the Netherlands Film Academy with a focus on production.
Production is also the range of tasks that Frederik will fulfill within Homage. Taking responsibility for finances and logistics matters is what drives him.

The enthusiastic storyteller Amar wants to give his audience an unforgettable and authentic experience with his films!
Amar gives everything at Homage to optimally meet the makers’ needs, to create the best possible production.
CHRISTIAAN ETTEMA

Christiaan, the story lover with a passion for visual effects. Christiaan enjoys it when a story can be told well in collaboration with different facets of the film industry. He has been studying at the Netherlands Film Academy since 2020, with a degree in Visual Effects & Immersive Media.
Within Homage, Christiaan is present from the beginning of an idea untill the end off the project, but mainly focuses on bringing editing, sound and visual effects together into a beautiful film.
